Association’s representative in Guatemala
Gail grew up on a small horticulture farm in New Zealand. She inherited her love for trees when her parents gave her a eucalypti to plant and grow alongside.
After completing an undergraduate degree in Spanish and Latin American Studies and a Graduate Diploma in Teaching Gail moved to Mexico and Central America where she has lived since 1999.
Her commitment to supporting projects in Guatemala led to her being awarded a Paul Harris Fellow in 2008.
As a We Need Trees representative in Guatemala, Gail’s mission is to encourage children to learn and share information about the ways we can co-exist with trees.
